Hi there! My name's Arvin Akoopie.

My work is divided into three distinct areas: RNA biochemistry, photography, and writing.

My primary work is RNA biochemistry, where I did research as a PhD graduate student at UC San Diego. I now work in cancer research in the Bay area.

My secondary work is photography. I used to do photography as a service, but I enjoy it much more as a simple hobby.

My final passion is writing, specifically screenplays, novellas, and analyses. There is not much to showcase yet as I'm quite busy editing drafts such that right now they're not up to my standards. The writings section is treated more as a blog, so if you enjoy reading those then feel free to head there!
